The Los Angeles Unified School District occupies buildings all over Los Angeles County that were built using materials that at the time were not known to be harmful to ones health. Disturbing these materials may release contaminants into the air; therefore, the District has a strict policy that only authorized personnel may make modifications to any building we occupy.
