Ongoing IAQ Problems - Tools for Schools Program

In response to ongoing indoor air quality concerns, schools should consider implementing the EPA’s “Tools for Schools Program.” This program is for schools who want to take a proactive role in improving the indoor air quality at their site. The goal of this program is to increase awareness about IAQ issues among public school employees as well as the students and communities they serve, and to promote action on IAQ problems in school buildings.

For assistance, contact Nursing Services at (213) 763-8325 or http://www.lausd.k12.ca.us/lausd/offices/student_health/.

For more information on the program please visit the EPA’s website at http://www.epa.gov/iaq/schools/tools4s2.html.
